Meet the WDRA Board

WDRA President 

 works tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly. From managing the day-to-day, Bingo Volunteer Co-ordinator to lending a helping hand in the kitchen and everywhere in between, Brenda’s dedication and commitment are at the heart of our community facilities. 

WDRA Vice President

Handles day-to-day operations, including updating the community sign. He is also a key organizer of the Ice Fishing Derby and Manning the BBQ, helping make these events a highlight of the season. 

WDRA Secretary

 is a kind and helpful presence who keeps everything organized behind the scenes. She coordinates volunteers and helps run major events, including the annual Golf Tournament and the Hockey Tournament during the Winter Carnival. 

WDRA Treasurer

 manages all finances with skill and precision, keeping our books in excellent order. She also writes and distributes the WDRA monthly newsletter, keeping the community informed and up to date. 

WDRA Member at Large

 assists with day-to-day ice operations and facility maintenance, and is our resident BBQ Master, helping make community events fun and memorable. 

WDRA Program's Co-Ordinator

 ensures that our community events meet everyone’s needs, offering an excellent mix of activities to engage and entertain all ages. 

WDRA Bar Manager

The friendly face behind the bar at WDRA, keeping things running smoothly and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every event.  

WDRA Ice Allocator 

Manages all Ice and Slab bookings with precision and care, ensuring everything runs smoothly for our community programs and events. 

WDRA Kitchen Manager

 Along with Leatrice Norlock help feed the community by catering all events and organizing volunteers, ensuring every gathering is welcoming and well-run. 

WDRA Member at Large

Coordinates the ball diamond and Minor Ball League, helps organize kids’ events, and manages social media and advertising. 

Canteen Manager 

A valued WDRA volunteer who manages the canteen during Ice Season. While not a member of the board, Britany plays an important role in supporting our programs by keeping the canteen organized, well-stocked, and welcoming for participants and families. 

 Hall Rentals & Event Support 

A dedicated WDRA volunteer who coordinates hall rentals and assists with canvassing food for special events. Though not a board member, Marg plays a key role in supporting community events and helping ensure everything comes together smoothly. 

Facility Manager

 the WDRA Facility Manager, overseeing maintenance and general upkeep of the facility. While not a board member, Peter’s work behind the scenes helps ensure the space is safe, functional, and ready for community use year-round. 

Ice Operations & Maintenance

 oversees ice operations and maintenance for WDRA, ensuring the rink is well maintained and ready for use throughout the season. Though not a board member, Mark’s expertise and dedication play an important role in keeping ice activities running smoothly. 

Kitchen Manager

 Along with her daughter Louise, manage the WDRA kitchen during events and activities. While not a board member, her hard work and dedication help keep operations running smoothly and ensure great service for our community
