About Us

 The Westmeath & District Recreation Association (WDRA) is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to providing recreation, sports, and community programming for residents in the northern area of the Whitewater Region. The association operates the arena, community hall, and outdoor facilities while supporting events, programs, and local initiatives that bring the community together. 

 We are a non-profit community governed

organization, whose purpose is to support the

people of our community in meeting their

recreational, athletic and social needs; to achieve

the best possible community spirit and well being.

 The Westmeath and District Recreation Association offers something for everyone! Join darts or euchre leagues, youth sports and the Minor Ball program, or unwind with yoga. Celebrate with us at community events like Canada Day fireworks, dances, and craft or social gatherings. Fun, fitness, and friendship, all in one place!
